My work focuses on student placement, English and skills-based program setup, and recruitment operations, ensuring all programs are structured, compliant, and aligned with Singapore requirements. I work closely with schools, academies, employers, and partner institutions to turn ideas into practical, sustainable systems.

Most of my work is built through long-term partnerships based on trust, clarity, and consistent execution.

Before establishing EK Training Academy, Marcus spent 15 years with Great Eastern, where he built extensive experience in sales leadership and professional training. Over the course of his career there, he mentored and trained more than 500 associates, equipping them with skills in customer communication, objection handling, closing strategies, goal setting, body language, and essential soft skills. The teams he supported went on to achieve over SGD $10 million in sales, reflecting the practical impact of his training and mentorship.

Marcus later expanded his work beyond the finance industry, partnering with business owners across biotech, media, medical, beauty, F&B, construction, and building sectors. He supports companies in re-evaluating their business models, strengthening sales strategies, and improving revenue and profit margins through practical, execution-focused solutions.

A strong advocate of communication and leadership development, Marcus previously served as President of Great Eastern Toastmasters Club, where he led the club to achieve President’s Distinguished Club status — the highest recognition within Toastmasters International.

Today, Marcus is also engaged by several universities and institutions in Singapore as a facilitator and mentor, guiding students in career readiness, communication confidence, and workplace adaptability.

Known for his hands-on leadership style, Marcus excels at cross-cultural communication, on-ground problem solving, and translating strategy into practical action. His approach combines structured thinking with real-world execution to deliver measurable outcomes for both organizations and individuals.
